AIM leader Dennis Banks looks back at his early life and the rise of the American Indian Movement.
The team of Sounds Ready did all Audio Post for this upcoming documentary release. Michel Tyabji was the Music Director/ Score Composer and Rosa was the Sound Designer and Post Audio Mixer.
This documentary feature was produced, written and directed by Lynn Salt & David Mueller. Extensive research, comprehensive interviews and lots of incredible archival footage and still photographs make "A Good Day to Die" a captivating film.
Many Americans don't know about the exceptional life story of Dennis Banks, his rise to become a leader of the American Indian Movement, and his continuous activity as a community leader and organizer of Sacred Runs and Longest Walks for Native Americans and many others. This documentary brings his story out front and center.

Seattle PBS Channel KCTS 9, presents "Tootie Pie"
Tootie Pie is a short film directed by Virginia Bogert, produced by Susan LaSalle; executive producer, Alex Tobias; and written by Rosalind Bell, adapted by her original short story, First Friends. Screened as part of a series of screenings for Black History Month on KCTS-TV.
This film is about the segregated American South of the 1960's. Tootie Pie and Claressa must face life's hard realities and Tootie Pie must face her own disreputable mother. Tootie Pie is a story of the mysterious bonds of friendship and kinship.

“Tootie Pie” will be available at the KCTS store; a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Shirts Across America, a local non-profit organization committed to aiding Katrina hurricane survivors in Louisiana and Mississippi.
