Company Profile - Sounds Ready

The partners at Sounds Ready have worked in the film and music production industries for well over a decade. We have experience as performers first, then as trained audio engineers and specialists in the field of location audio recording, studio recording and production techniques and creative sound design work.

We also own and operate a recording studio and production facility, as well as a record label/ music publisher:Limitless Sky Records. Rosa Tyabji has worked as a Location Recordist/ Sound Mixer for film specifically since 1996. She began her work after completion of the Recording Engineering & Production Program at the Institute for Audio Research, located in New York City. She then went into training in film production techniques by immersing herself in the student film productions of NYU and Columbia University. After working on over a dozen student short thesis films, she began to work professionally and has continued to build up her experience as she travelled and lived around the world. Rosa has worked as a sound mixer on feature length films, shorts, commercials, industrial shoots, music videos, and PSA's since 1996.

Michel Tyabji is a drummer/ percussionist who has lived and performed in over half a dozen different countries, from England to Tanzania. He draws his experience and influences from India, Africa and Arabia together with his education in Western Classical music. Michel is also educated as an audio engineer and music producer, and he is a sought after music producer for international artists within America. He began working on location sound for film, film score production, and sound design in 1998. He has worked as a boom operator since 1999.

Working together as a team or on our own projects, we have access to this combined expertise and experience which makes for the unique ability to provide audio production services for the whole filmmaking process.
